Pretty incredible Su. Can you post a larger version or a detail view?

That is ridiculously good. I always wish I had the attention span to stick to something like that. Awesome work.
That is fantastic, I can't say any more than what has already been said.
Thanks so much again to jvila and Rhanna, Gary, Gray, Graphicsbag and Ontos for all your replies.
Sorry for delay in answering, been a bit inundated with work ... I've done some more attachments of the picture as promised:
1. Wireframe view - I overlaid it with a transparent bitmap of the image as parts of it were just a black mass where I went a bit mad and drew loads of shapes ... as you do.
2. Some close-ups, so you can see some more details.
3. This is the whole thing again, made it a little bit larger ... but ... unfortunately I started the picture ages ago at a lowish resolution; so it was quite small (when viewed at the higher resolutions now). The first posted version was already increased a little to combat this, but too much larger and it will start to look a bit rough in places; hence the previous close-ups.
Regards
Su
Excellent. I wish I had the patience. Certainly fooled me into thinking it was a photo.

Thanks Derek
I don't think I have that much patience actually. This image was done over a fairly long period of time and with the really intensive bits I only did short stints at a time.
Not sure why I kept going back to finally finish it, but probably had something to do with curiosity about whether I could do something as organic like this in Xara, plus a certain amount of stubborness.

Su
It doesn't matter how long it takes Su, it's the enjoyment in doing it. It was well worth the effort.
Very realistic!!!
Wow, I am totally amazed what you can do with Xara.
