tweaking image popup window

is it possible to change the appearance of the popup window when you click on a photo, for instance the size and color of the white border and/or perhaps remove or change the red cross in the upper right corner
i suppose one has to edit the roe.js file but my knowledge of javascript is well.. nothing

Not in this version.
There have been requests for this to be an editable object and hints have been made that future versions may provide this level of editability. Time will tell.

Meanwhile, you can create your own stylish popup frame by creating it on a new layer as a popup object triggered from a thumbnail on the mouseoff layer.
