I think this ones done apart from a few small things to correct. 20"x 21". Shows the Hansa Brandenburg W12 on floats with a Hansa Brandenburg CC in the back ground.
Mostly vector with mix of vector/ raster for background.

There aren't enough superlatives in the dictionary to cover your work Gray! "Excellent" will just have to do Thanks for sharing the images with us

An unusual tail assembly that wouldn't really work if it was a tail dragger! Your illustration is up to your usual high standards Gray, but I find myself looking up & learning about the subjects which adds to the experience of seeing your work. Thanks again for sharing Gray!
Certainly no gray areas here - another masterpiece..
One thing though Gray, I'm not following the tail design in the line view version, there seems to be more there than in the painted final craft - or am I looking at it all wrong
Where do you get your references from? I'm jealous. I have all those excellent pictures from the EAA airshow and they can not be used in any way.
Things you should never say when pulled over by the police:
Could you hold my beer while I dig out my license?
Excellent settings. excellent clouds and airplains. If you are not a pro you should.. Lupen
Thanks John for your positive comments.
Thanks BR. They do have a unique rudder.
Thanks Nancy. The EAA is very possesive of their show. There just aren't really many references at all for some of these old aircraft. The good part is you don't have to worry about copyright.
Thank you lupen. LOL, I'd go broke if I had to charge for my time.
Thanks sledger, it's not your eyes, the perspective shortens it up at that angle. I see what you mean though when you look at the 3 view. I usually make up a simple 3D wireframe for these illustrations to get the perspective and composition I want. They're simple but give me the basics I need to start laying it out in Xara. This is the wireframe I made to use in this illustration. You can see the horizontal tail looks normal till I tilt it at the more extreme angle.
Gray, another Masterpiece, unbelievable and outstandig allways like your another works. Regards BP

The 3-view looked fine to me. Maybe that's because I grew accustomed to seeing things in perspective for so many years. I do know that some of the things I drew in perspective sometimes looked strange to other people but looked right to me.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.
Thanks BP, I appreciate that.
Thanks Larry. Perpective can be a strange beast at times.
