    Default REMOVING STRIPES

    Ok so i am some what new to photoshop and am having trouble removing the stripes on a car i am working on. The healing brush isnt working for me. i am getting alot of burn marks this way. What tools or techniques can i use to solve this problem?Click image for larger version.

    You can use the dropper to match the color and the paint brush to paint over the stripes. And the smudge tool to smudge them out. I used a combination of these tools to remove the stripes on the front fender,

    Or , use your eyedropper to match the dark blue paint color behind the stripes and set this as the background color , then use the eraser tool to erase the stripes.
