I am trying to find a old looking paper efx........ like the one here at the bottom and top of the site www.blackpoolmagic.com.

Is there a plugin or an effect within Xara Xtreme 5

Are you referring to the torn paper edges of the white section or the parchment kind of effect of the underlying background with the decorative floral pattern in the corner?

Its the white paper overlaying the background

Alien Skin's Xenofex v2 (the full version, not the one included with Xtreme, unfortunately) includes a Burnt Edges filter.
