    Default Adventure duck

Originally I submitted this image to the Xara Book competition, but since it didn't got selected for teh upcoming book I decided to put it here in the xara gallery instead. It's once again my rubber duck on new adventures, this time in the dark forest. I believe this one is one of my most ambitious projects yet, and the first xara artwork to get Xtreme to its knees (or then there are bugs in the software) - anyway, I had tons of problems exporting this one to bitmap (either the light rays didn't render correctly or then there were tiny lines over the image like as if it was cut and poorly merged). Anyway, I didn't manage to get a perfect bitmap export so I fixed the horizontal lines in Photoshop, and this is the result.

That's beautifully done! And the more scary the more I look at it!

A beautiful and atmospheric image Paul, well worth all the export hassle.

I like the idea of using a paintbrush over his shoulder for his bundle. I was half expecting to see a ringwraith or two appearing in there somewhere (erm ... in the picture that is ... not in his bundle).

    Regards

    Su
