Button in button

Hi, has anyone ever tried to put a button inside a movie clip when the movie clip is located in the over state of another button?
I have a button that floats around and when you roll over it, it spins and opens up, then I want buttons to come out of it. I will be using this for navigation purposes.

...but I know you couldn't do that in earlier versions of Flash (ie-3 & 4)

You may want to try it in 5 & MX...they may have fixed that. But usually it's just better to set a movie clip under an invisible button, and then when you're over the invisible button, get the movie clip to jump to the frame with the animation/other buttons, etc. That's a simple fix. There are other more complex fixes that I could describe for you, but I haven't the time right now - let me know if you're interested in what they are, though.
