set up problems

When installing 3d6 and trying to run it, I always get the error message "failed to create webfileupdater" and asks me to try re-installing it. This happens with both the download and cd versions. It doesn't correct no matter how many times I re-install it. I'm waiting for a support response but wondered if anyone else has experienced this problem? I run on pentium 4 XP!

I am guessing here but could this be a connection issue?

* When you install are you connected to the Internet?
* Xara.com needs to be in your "Trusted Zone". Check that it is.
* Your Firewall may be preventing access to the Xara webfile updater. Xara use SOAP over HTTP on Port 80. By default your Firewall may be configured to refuse SOAP on this port, which is not unusual. You may have to open port 80 to SOAP over HTTP.
