    Default Roses

The lilly farie gathered the flowers when I wasn't looking. So, off to roses.

Nice rose shot rich. Still haven't been able to take any rose shots this year. Maybe I will get a chance to take a little time off tommorrow.

You will need to define high res.

My camera does 3504 X 2336. Of course, this is not the standard aspect ratio for a standard printed page. I read that you could print 11 X 14 inches. The article said 300 DPI as well. If I work the numbers, I get 212 DPI.

So, 2976 X 2336 to get to the correct aspect ratio.

I am using a 100MM macro lens, and ther is probably more useable image as opposed to shooting at a distance and having lots of surrounding non usible image.

My camera is 8 Mpixel. I think Xara was mentioning 40 Mpixel.

The deffinition would depend on the display size. Guess I could have a very high resolution the size if a postage stamp.

reading all those popular photography magazines paid off.

I understand what you are saying.

Thank You for explaining resolution and all to me.

I rewatched the Xara help video again . and will a few more times. That one lesson has much to it for a beginner like me.
...oh why did I take auto cad and not graphic design....

    John,

Looks good. I tried reds in HDR, and they are always too saturated. I'll keep trying.

I did these by using 2 strobes on either side of the flower and bouncing F32 worth of light off them. Drops out the background rather nice, and I don't have to worry about the color temperture.

Found out that my camera, does HDR also... will have to play with that some.
