Default is there a way to align objects using other objects?

say i have a medium size circle, and a smaller circle, is there a way to get the smaller circle to move directly in the center of the medium size circle?

You can select two or more objects and click in the center of the preview window to automatically center all the objects.

From the Xara Xone Tips Page 7. These are methods of intuitive alignment.

If you spent a little time going through the 100+ tips you might find that most of your questions have already been addressed. Plus you might even learn a few things you didn't even know you didn't know.

Just to add to that (probably most people already know this?) -- the object at the back is the one to which the object in the front is aligned. So, if you want the big black circle to have its centre moved to the centre of the wee yellow circle, set the yellow circle to be behind the black one (Arrange > Move backwards, or Arrange > Put to back).
