I want to make text from an image.

You mean you want to make an image appear inside the text letters... correct? [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif[/img]

1) Create the type layer you want.
2) Put your image/photo on a layer right above the type layer.
3) Hold down the ALT key and click your mouse on the thin line that divides the 2 layers.

NOTE: As you hover your mouse over the line between the layers with the ALT key held down, your cursor will turn into a 'pin-tack' image -- until you release the ALT key.
