    Default Page stretching

If I lengthen my page by dragging the bottom of the page, it pulls down all the content from the page with it.

Shouldn't the content be static to the top of the page?

Gary I made a test using a couple of pages I have created and stretching the page does not move the existing content.

Can you post a sample .web file that exhibits the problem?

I think if your X,Y start point are at bottom left this happens. I keep mine at top right and it doesn't happen to me, but when I switched it did.

    Yes, Bobby is correct.
Sizing is applied to the top section of the page if the X/Y co-ords are swapped (by double-clicking the intersection for example) - this will cause the content to appear to move down the page as you drag.

By default, page size dragging adds space to the lower part of the page leaving the content in place as you drag the page edge.

I gave this a try, but I cannot produce the effect that the content, three rectangles, moves down when I stretch the page downwards.
I used the settings as per attached screenshot.

Enable Rulers and then try double-clicking the intersection.
    This reverses co-ords.

    Steve,
I'm happy to say I cannot produce the effect of the content being shifted down when I stretch the page.
I have tried with both "Y increases upwards" and "Y increases downwards".

However, double-clicking on the intersection (I take this to be the corner where the two rulers meet ?) has no effect. Right-clicking, however, produces a dialog for choosing the upper left or the lower left corner as the origin.

    A strange thing, though;-
With the rulers displayed, there seems to be no interaction between the Y-rulers direction on the screen and the "Y increases upwards/downwards" in the Grid- and rulers dialog window. In the attached screenshot the ruler has y increasing downwards, and pon opening the Grid- and ruler Options the panel states that Y increases Upwards.

    How can this be?

P.S. This is so for both XWD and XXPro5(DL).

I can reproduce it by enabling the rulers and double-clicking on the + marking the intersection of the X and Y rulers, which reverses the direction of the Y coordinate so the content moves with the bottom of the page. Double-clicking again doesn't reverse it back. I have to click the undo arrow.

Which is what I'd said in post #4 - obviously poorly - sorry about that
