Refreshing website

Has anyone else had the situation continually arise that when you first go to your own website the links don't work, BUT, if you hit the refresh button in Explorer the links then work fine?

Or is this something I've done wrong in my website creation?

It might be taking the page some time to load. This happens sometimes.

Hi,
I have had similar events with my work, but I have been saving websit to a temprary folder on HD then using a freebie Ftp rogram to transfer and it has taken old files as well as new update ones thus some of the files are doubling up..I think..
I just cleaned up the Final (as of o-day) direcory and cleaned up my on line server and things are fine.
