    Default Website search - help

I have built a web site for a friend with XWD...

    http://people.aapt.net.au/~jjknapp/

(His server allocation is not without difficulty)

But I can't get Google to pick it up in a search.
I enclosed the info I have included in the site management.
The index file is lower case.
    What am I doing wrong?

    Hi Rhanna

This guide from Google should start you off in the right direction.

    1. It takes time for stuff to show up on google
    2. You should submit your site for them to index - no guarantee, but at least it's something you can do
    3. Generally, a page needs to exist (I think) for a month or so before Google will bother with it
    4. This address may be problematic: site:people.aapt.net.au/~jjknapp/
    5. If you want to see if you are even IN the index to be searchable/findable, go to google and search for site:people.aapt.net.au/~jjknapp/ exactly like that

    Hope that helps.
