Hi Bob and all
clearly going mad, but twas the rounded ends I wanted, however I followed your tutorial
and .......
I drew a circle
converted it to an editable shape
Selected the shape editor
and clicked and shift clicked on two ajoining nodes so that each node was surrounded by a blue square.
I selected break at points
tried pressing delete points just got a doughnut
pressed the delete key- still got a doughnut
How do I select and remove the arc between the two nodes?
thanks
Ian
Ian,
You're fine up to the shape editor tool .....
With the shape editor tool, marquee select two nodes, so they are both red (or blue -did you change that in Xareg)
Click "Break at points"
After that change to the selector tool.
Click off the shape then select and drag away the portion that you cut out (then delete it if you want).
You are left with a "C"
Change the line width to whatever thickness you want.
The open the line gallery
Change "Butt Cap" to "Round Cap"
