    Default Here Are Some Of Mine

    But i consider myself a complete amateur. I did these in Corel Painter XI:

    However much of an amateur you consider yourself to be, you clearly have talent. Please don't stop, keep at it, develop it. There's nothing more satisfying

    In the first one i like the blue dot behind his head...
    It looks almost like water-colour...
    Forget about the sketchy line tool and start experimenting with that effect...

    just a hint:
    NEVER start with your hard edges if you are not tracing ETC....'(freehand)
    As this is like setting your mistakes into concrete.
    start with the vague and work towards certainty...
    IE do a few rough lines to show the shapes of the figure then try this exercise:
    do a 2 colour image,.....just the shaddow and light...
    i.e decide mentally which areas are to be shaddowed (going by your refence) and trace out these shapes.... the rest will be the areas in the light...
    When your are done doing this your peice will be streaks ahead of what you just done...
    Give it a try...
    If you complete this then you will have something that will say something an probably be a great starting point for a much more sophisticated piece.
