    Hi,
I am trying to create a text object in X3d, save that as a png and import into X and position the text object over a photo. I want the text bkgrnd to be transparent, so it blends with the photo.

I am doing something wrong here, and need some help.

I import the pic as a bkgd texture in X3d, but X3d tiles it, and I can not resize it, so...... I move the bkgnd to align it with the text.
Next I try to export it, here is where I am doing something wrong. When I go to export it the preview shows text/bkgnd are not aligned like I want. How do I do this?

Or is this done easier in X by just importing the text, aligning it and then get the text to blend with the photo?

    Thanks,

    Chris

    Hi Chris,

What size is the image you are using for the background? I run my PC at 1024x768 and use images that size for the background. If you are using Xara3D5 you can set the frame size to the size of your image and it should prevent the tiling you mentioned.
