ImageReady animation?

Maybe im retarded but.. i cant, for the life of me, figure out how to keep from applying changes to a single frame of text in image ready. If i edit the text a few frames later it effects the other ones as well.. what do i do?

Use duplicates on layers.

When you are on your second frame, duplicate the text layer, and then turn off the original text layer (make it invisible). You can now alter your new text layer without affecting the first frame.
