    Default How to export GIF without loosing quality?

    I am amking small banners and when i export picture in GIF format I get not clear picture.
    My friend with photoshop does the same picture and make very clear one.


    What is the trick?

    A picture is attached.

    Welcome to the Xtreme Conference Zaoka.

    At this size I don't think Photoshop is going to do any better.

    If you look at the attached image (1000 X ZOOM) you can see that you do not have a lot of pixels to work with.

    I am not sure what your export resolution is but for Windows you should export at 96dpi (Windows screen resolution) and do your visitors a favor, make the buttons or banners images large enough so someone can read them.

    Someone here posted a link to a page explaining when to use GIF, PNG or JPG. I can't find it again but think it would be a great page to have bookmarked. Here is an image that shows what was explained. I think I got it correct.

    I tend to export everything from XX as PNG because that's the way my jigsaw maker wants them.
