Does anyone have or know of a script that displays, on your mainpage, the number of visitors
that are currently viewing your site? i,ve seen several that seem to be a function of a tracker or counter, but i'm looking for a stand-alone and if it's cgi, would have to be remotely hosted.

Hello,

You can do this all in ASP if you know,
if you know asp then you can do this by increment in application level variable on every
session start, and subtraction on every session abondon, expires or timeout etc. just is this.
nothing so complecated,

I don't know cgi,perl etc, only I know is
ASP, JSP, Servlet, and will learn PHP soon.
