I need to select a color in a object and change it to another color. As an example select all the white and change it to blue. How can I do this?

Do you mean on bitmap?
John.
If the color is an outline or a vector shape (and not a bitmap photo), select the object, and click on any of the colors on the color palette with the left button.
Or you can right click on any of the colors and a pop up menu will give you the option of making the color a fill color or an outline color.
Or you can drag a color from the screen palette and drop it onto an object.
Or, you can click the tiny color wheel icon to the left of the colors on the screen palette to open the Color Editor where you can mix any color you wish using a variety of color models.
There are probably more options but these should get you started.

Yes This would be all the white on a bitmapped image changed to blue
Hi Theesnoman,
A dedicated bitmap editor like Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, etc would be easiest for replacing a single colour in a bitmap image.
However, that does not mean it can't be done in Xara Xtreme.
1. Use the Shape Editor or Pen Tool to draw shapes over the white areas. Give the shapes no outline and the colour you want.
2. Use Medhi Eraser plugin to remove the white then place the image over a rectangle the size of your bitmap image and assign the colour of your choice.
