Great work, Javier!

No John, I was referring to something somebody (who is well known to the long-time members of this board) said back in the early days of my Parker Ink bottle or VW Splittie drawing, around about that time. He said it required no talent, simply the ability to trace. He was above such base techniques.
Well I'm sorry. If everybody could achieve what Javier has achieved they'd all be doing it, it would be boring and commonplace and we would not be applauding his work now. Yet it is not boring, it is not commonplace and we are applauding his work, as we have applauded all such work for at least 10 years.
(OT. John, please could you stop picking at everything I say, at least until you have verified that what you are picking at is actually correct)
If someone tried to make me dig my own grave I would say No.
They're going to kill me anyway and I'd love to die the way I lived:
Avoiding Manual Labour.
Frank I'm not picking. I really thought you reffering to my recent post. I think you remember which. I was also talking about talent. Sorry for missunderstanding.
John.
Javier, it's amazing to see how quickly you have taken to Xara. Great looking bike! I'm sure it was hard work, but very much worth it, I think.
Super job!
Risto
Thank you very much, I really enjoyed your words!!!.
Happy Easter.
Javier
Superb piece of work. Congratulations!
I would really like to see a higher-res version of this to appreciate the detail.
I would also like to know how you went about constructing elements like the tyre treads, getting the geometry right when the subjects is at an angle like this is something that strains the brain to contemplate how to it without using a 3D modelling program.
Thanks for showing us this remarkable piece of work.

Collin_e,
Thank you very much for pay attention to my drawing an send that kind message.
About hi-res, I totally agree, the limitation in size many times does not permit to show all the details.
I'm uploading some macro shots to be able to show them closer.
About treads, I used a self made brush, applied it as a border of a circle and that circle is not alligned with the tire, then I intersect the tread with the tire to eliminate the tread located outside the tire, another option is to use clipview.
If you want more detail I can send you an example, just send me an email or private message.
I understand what you want I cracked my head some time ago until Ron Duke help me with this.
It is just such as lights and shadows, the brain makes the rest.
Un abrazo
Javier
