Xara problem

Hello Everyone,
I have downloaded the demo movie of Xara and I am having a problem...
In the movie the catwomen, I get to the "Combine Shapes" menu but all of the options in that menu are greyed out....
Any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong???

Hello Norman,

Welcome to Talkgraphics...

Normally, you need to select more than 1 object for combine shapes to work. To select more than one item, you can either shift click or marquee select around the outside of all the objects.

Check the text in the info area in the lower left corner, it should tell you how many objects you have selected. see pretty picture...
