Due to System crashing each time I try to save my menus I am thinking I will need to re-install the software. If I do this will I lose any mneus I have saved in my Menu Maker?

Not if you copy the contents of C:\Program Files\Xara\Menu Maker\WSTemplates to another location before removing MM.
