    Default retro style tv

In this age of 32 " plasma tv screens becoming commonplace, I thought I'd take a trip down memory lane before the days of Big Brother, I'm A Celebrity, The X Factor, and "Cooking From War-Torn Bolivia" - ok, I made that last one up. But Whirlybirds, I Love Lucy, Z Cars and Highway Patrol were the staple diet of viewers when this type of TV was in most homes in the 1960s.
Adapted, once again from a tutorial for Illustrator and adapted fotr use with Xara Xtreme.

That's when TV's had knobs for on/off, volume up/down, channel up/down. You knew where the controls where, in the front of the telly. Now it's "Where the **** is the remote contol for the TV/Video/DVD/STB/Sat TV/HiFi/MP3/Nintendo/X-Box/WiFi/Computer etc!

    Great rendering Bob.

Nice job Bob! Yep, that brings back some memories. If my memory will serve me well enough, I'll do a drawing of the first T.V. my family had when I group up in the early 1950's...

Very nice! I did this tutorial some time back in AI when I was starting to get into vector.

I'll have to give it a go in Xara as well.

    Again, Well done.
