I want to insert a text character into a heading in WS. I can't find the keystroke to insert it, although the font family is in my font list. Any ideas on how to accomplish this?

Hi Nostalgic,
Welcome to Talkgraphics.
Which symbol are you wanting to insert? You will need to use an Alt key and the numeric keypad to insert symbols.
If you can tell me the symbol I can tell you the numbers to enter on the keypad while holding the Alt key down.

Welcome to the Forums Nostalgic.
If you are using a Windows PC you can find the character you want via the character map.
Go to Start>>Run and type charmap - hit enter
Bare in mind however that not all fonts and certainly not all characters are usable on a webpage as websafe font.
Some characters are available via alt-code keystrokes and will work for web pages, though many will not.
You may need to create a small .gif image for something special.

➢ it is a arial ms unicode symbol
Nostalgic I cannot find that specific symbol in Arial Unicode. The closest I can find is the Black Right-Pointing Pointer: ►

it is called an arrowhead if that helps at all.. I could use any of the three. black rightwards arrowhead would work if you can find it.
You could use ZapfDingBats font for the specific character you have shown.
I'm not sure if Webstyle supports using Dingbat fonts.

The problem I am having is that where I want the arrow is in a heading that has a webding in it, but I have to put the keyboard letter in the spot since it is a text heading. I am using the portfolio template and I am trying to the image that is on the top logo. When I access that to change it, since it is text, if i can find the letter (keystroke) that it corresponds with I can change the font and then the letter. If nothing else, I can wait until I am in html, but since a client is viewing this, I prefer to change it in WS.
