I've been experimenting with drawing candles and flames. This candle will be part of a larger piece that I'm working on.

I dredged up one of Gary's old WebXealot Workbook (#6) tutorials detailing one method of creating More Repeating Tiles and got carried away as usual. Here's my go at the repeating tile wallpaper along with a stitched hanging wall sampler.
A special thanks to Gary W. Priester for the wealth of information contained in all of the tutorials, workbooks, posts, and projects he's been a part of all these years with Xara. His efforts (along with all of the other contributors) definitely make learning to use Xara Xtreme fun and 'Xciting'.
Cheers,
HayTay
Flush with the success of following Gary's repeating tile tutorial I decided to venture off on my own to see what I could come up with. Since the photo from the Xara Clipart Gallery is a bitmap instead of vector shapes I had to use a similar, but slightly different, approach. This repeating tile is the result of rearranging several Slice (cut) Shapes (Ctrl+4) and the subsequent application of a couple Linear Transparencies. Once again, I don't think it came out too bad. It works well as a standard 'Repeating Tile' but looks kind of strange when applied as a 'Repeat Inverted' tile.
I think more repeating tile experimentation is necessary.

Decisions decisions. This is a t-shirt design for Chapel of the Cross.
Anyone have any suggestions for improvement?
Penny - You have such an elegant style. And Mickie - Cool, you're brother must have loved it.
Bruce - Is that pooper scooper banner SPAM or is it a design you did?
HayTay you are most welcome.
