Isn't it fascinating how the photo appears to have been scribbled over with a white pen?
Well caught John. I can almost hear that one

Thanks Steve.
I have know idea how or what the white "scribbles" are. It was probably just the glint on the water as it was captured over the exposure.
How about another fall color pic... Is nobody else shooting any fall color?
Here is a picture of the "real deal".
I worked in the City today, just outside of the Golden Gate Park, near Sea Cliff.

Nice shot Andy!
I sure am glad I don't live in that neck of the woods. Too much smog and haze for any really good shots. We have had 4 out of 7 days with perfectly blue skies, no clouds, no haze, no smog. Makes me sad to sit in the office on days like these.
BTW: The topic is Golden Grate, not Golden Gate... A play on words so to speak...
Yeah thanks, I only noticed that play on words after I posted the GG bridge photo.
I really need to get my eyes checked!

Great shots John.
We get good autumn scenes here. Steve just lives too far north.
Rupert
Rupert,
If you have any shots from last season, post one or two...
I'd love to be shooting some autumn color...but we don't get much of a change of seasons in Miami, FL. The closest thing we get to fall colors is in a very popular landscaping plant called a croton.

I spent some time in that neck of the woods. There is just 2 seasons there. Hot and Freeze your tail off. I have never felt so cold. 40 Degrees at 100% humidity is horrid.
That is why I like this neck of the woods... I get all 4 seasons but not enough of them to make me dread going outside.
