Thanks I will give it a try. As far as the color issue I cahnged the colors to look more like the pics in the tut with the eye dropper so it looked more like the tut. Not really a big deal.

Please let me know how you make out in Xara X.

not a great deal different as far as I can see - the first your file with the transparency option changed in xtreme pro 4 - the second one from xara x with the correct colors as specified in tutorial
