Hi kerco. Could you post the xar file your having difficulty with? It looks like you've got a bitmap fill applied.

Thanks Bob. If I open your xar I don't get the same results as you. It could be because I don't have that font installed (fine hand LET) and the substitute font doesn't display the same bug. Would it be possible to try it in a more widely used font? Perhaps Verdana.
UPDATE: Yes, I've just tried changing the font to Verdana and I get artifacts etc.

I tried it with arial, same bugginess in the text box version.
