Gradient

Hi there

I have been Goggling but not coming up with much. I am sure I once saw a programme that you could make gradinents from images by selecting certain points of the image, I know you can do this in PSP, but there was a specific prog. that you could either be selective of the colours or if would convert the whole image to a granient and then it could be exported as a gradient file to be able to be used in PSP or PS. Does anyone know of such a prog??
