Another snake thing.

That's a beauty Rich. Reminds me of the old Snakes and Ladders game.
Very Art Nouveau Rich. The first design.
Snakes are cool as long as you don't get them upset. In my neck of the woods the ones that don 't rattle are always welcome because they keep the pack rat populations down.

Gary,
I worked at a remote mountain facility and would see rattle snakes in the morning. They slow down when it gets cold. I was always surprised finding one in the path almost stepping on them. They are just so invisible. One day at the laser lab, it sounded as though the power transformed was going out. A very high pitched buzz. Certainly not like the snakes in the Cowboy movies. I was much more careful after that. At least I tried to be. Never did any good. So it was snakes or wild boar. Wild bord sound like thunder, but a dark cloud moving across the ground. There wer lots of ancient oak trees, and the boar would mostly come at night.

I heard someplace that rattle snakes without rattles are becoming more prevelant. The noisy ones are the ones to get eliminated, whereas the quiet ones just bite you.
Wow Rich! These snake designs are awesome! That last bunch would look awesome transfered onto the hood of a hotrod by a skilled airbrush artist. It could also be a cool tattoo design! -- Right up the back of a beautiful woman! The tails down low and the snake heads up by the shoulder blades. I can see it in my minds eye. Beautiful!

No... No...
