    Default Simple Snake

    Dear all,

I'm not a designer but I need an icon for my application. This should be a snake, enough simple to be reduced to icon (24x24 px) without losing too much the shape idea. A snake forming an S should be ideal. Then I've tried to do it by myself using a freehand brush tool and just drawing an S. Pretty fine except the the simple line does not really seems to be snake. Then I've tried to give it a snake shape just applying a stroke shape from the Line gallery. Dab or Raindrop shapes look to be good, but they don't change the shape only, the change also the pressure profile, and I don't want this. Can you tell me how I can do (if it is possible) to change only the brush shape and not the pressure profile?

    Thanks.

you can edit the line shape by converting line to shape and then using the shape editor tool - I am assuming this works in the linux version

is this the sort of thing you mean?

Well, thanks... this should work, even if it is not so easy to me to change the shape in a suitable form! Thank you again.

From the snake in the garden. This was the separating object.
