    Default Magix webdesigner program

One question, (a bit OT) Magix has a webdesigner program, will Xtreme
be intergrated (like dreamweaver) with it? So you can import stuff easily?
Or is that aleady so? Or is the web function within Xtreme what is used
as the webdesigner in Magix webdesigner, just asking before I buy that magix software.

(I hope someone understands what I meant )

Dennis I do not have any knowledge of how Xara will make future developments. I think Magix Webdesigner and Xara Webstyle may become either more alike or one replace the other.

If you're talking about "Website Maker 2.0": Isn't it an online application which creates "full Flash sites"?

I think, you can test it here: http://www.magix-website.com/uk/

It appears that Magix no longer offers the program I was referring to in my post.

Shortly after Magix purchased Xara they sent me an email about a program they offered that was specific for creating websites.

EDIT: Maybe I spoke too soon. Remi is the product in this link http://www.idealo.de/preisvergleich/...52F786655.html the same as the online program?

    Hi Bill,

your link lists "Magix Website Maker" but I really don't get it: they deliver a CD in a box, but then again they say on their website:
"MAGIX Website Maker 2.0 is an online application: Ideal for broadband! Access without installing any software and use any conventional browser anytime, anywhere! Thanks to automatic program updates, you'll always be up to speed." [source: http://www.magix.com/uk/website-maker/]

    Hi Remi,

    It is confusing.

The advertisement I remember from their email a year or more ago was for a program to be installed on the local computer.

At that time I remember thinking this may be a replacement for Webstyle.

Webstyle has not been updated for 4 years.

Website Maker seems to have become an online service.

I feel like I'm in a fog like Paul's latest cartoon in the Xara Gallery.

Hmmm I just noticed a box in the local mediamarkt here,
with a web program from Magix, I just wondered.

I will take a closer look next time I go there again and report
    back what it exactly is.
