Those produce some really interesting effects.

Experimenting with blending the original two line blend to text I got this ... a bit of tweaking needed

Moving away from the topic slightly there John, but good to experiment none-the-less.
If you have a tablet, or even if you're ok with the mouse, try using your signature as one of the string lines.
You can also change the line Stroke Shape from the default 'constant' to any of the other shapes for more interesting results (though do be prepared for some rather slow responses if you select the 'propeller' profile).
The initial stroke shape was a 'blip' What I was trying to do at first was use the "J" as the curve of "blend along a curve", if you see what I mean. The button was greyed out though. So I ended up messing with the above and thought I'd post anyway. Not left the track totally ... fun possibilities

Hi everyone
Could not resist trying out this craze that Steve started off I have now got pages full of crazy, but great looking, designs which I am sure will come in use sometime.
Here is a sample.

Very nice Sammy.
First thing that comes to mind is a Lily.
First thing that came to mind here was some strange deep sea creature feeding.

Thanks Steve.
Yes without doubt, deep sea creatures. The beauty of this string art is that even a minor alteration can create somthing completely different. Also its fun to adjust the line curves once the blend has been applied.
Here's a wierd one.
Sammy
And another one before I go to sleep. Early start tomorrow
Sammy
My attempt at a proper one
