    Found this on the side of my house today - never saw one before. Does anyone know what it is?

    Looks a "Daddy Long Legs" Crane Fly - Normally the wings are held out when at rest, but not always.

    I think they're supposed to taste like chicken, but that probably would depend on how it's cooked. Ideally flies such as this should be marinated in scotch for at least 3 months, prior to cooking.

    could always try the jameson version.

    fry him with a bit of jameson whisky and enjoy!
