Default Re: Strange Mouseover behaviour - Bug?

    Hi Bob,
I don't! IE7, Fox, Opera, Safari all behave the same for me.
As I've said before, IE6 does not behave the same as other browsers in this respect.
So there are still some bad interactions with pop-ups it would be impossible to avoid, I think.
Yes. This is still not clear. And there are
some other problems too. So I can't tell anything more specific except that we shall work on it.
A quick visual inspection suggests that neutering the re() function may produce the desired effect:
Ha! This would be much too simple! And I say it is not.

    Lee,
But I guess it's pretty clear that it's somewhere in that function.
    No, not even near.
    John.

Ah! Whoops, other functions in the script call re() too. So you have to have them call a different re(). Try this:

Definitely closer. Now in IE 6 I get a bit of flashing (ie. layer popping up and popping back) when you hold the mouse over part of the pop up (which in IE 6 goes through the transparency). Will check out Opera when I get home tonight.

    Regards

    Lee

No, no, no. This would be still much too simple.
As I say, it requires some significand changes to the script.
    John.
