Very nicely done Fred. Just a couple of obvious pieces.

Hi Steve,
Actually I kind of figured it out one way but it requires transparency of duplicate objects.
Is this the way to go ?

I owe Bill an apology
When I first saw his cup I just thought, pffffft, big deal. Rich Man has a new toy. Well poor man has a new toy now, also. I guess Bill's copy came with talent and taste cause my cup sure don't like his. Guess I am forced to eat a bit of humble pie and drink a cuppa of (sorry, just had a couple of Australian guests) hemlock juice. That's why the horrible colours, if I got to do it I don't want to enjoy it.
Soooooooo, humble pie and all, sorry Bill, looks like your the better man........at least for today...............frank

Hi Frank,
No need to apologise.
I'm not sure who the rich man is that you mentioned. It surely isn't me.
The attached image shows the two shapes used to create my coffee cup. A copy of the finished image is inset in the upper left for comparison.
EDIT: I've also attached the .xar file with the parts and an extruded set of parts.
