be aware, not to become a ware.
After grouping your two extrudes - convert them to editable shapes and go back to the extrude tool.
You'll see some interesting results.. (..and repeating the above step over and over - the results become even more interesting!)
What happens if you just select all the shapes without grouping them? One cool thing I have noticed is the ability to batch process extrusions. For example if you have selected several extruded objects you can edit the light source for all selected. If you move one light source all the related light sources move as well. You can rotate the selection as one and other things as well.

That is example 3, you get synchronised swimmers, which is pretty cool.
Grouped you can just choose one of the parts and move them, but I wanted it to move as one, and that would give example 4, but that doesn`t happen.

Also great for animation

No time to play right now, we're headed out the door in a second.. But can you temporarily turn off the extrusion for both, group them together and then re-apply the extrusion? It might keep the properties of the previous extrusion for the new group like it does for simple edits.
This signature would be seven words long if it was six words shorter.
Maybe asked before,
Why can't the extrusion side not be bitmapped?
And by doing so create a real depth objects.
Why can't we break up an extrusion into seperate objects after our design is layed out and then fill the objects with bitmaps
Hans
I really like the extrusion tool. Some additions I'd like to see:
1. Allow bitmaps on sides
2. When you right click and release menu is display (as now), however if you right click and drag it would move/position the object. Nice work flow enhancement.
Thanks
