Hi Folks, This is the beginning of a series of Photopaint how 2's I am going to do. I have said that the dagger stroke is the most useful thing you can learn, I'm sure a lot of you already know how, but for the few who don't I'm gonna show ya a few things that will go a long way, plus you will have some fun!
Here are the basics.
Work with at least 150 dpi resolution, because the higher the resolution the more detail you can draw.
Ok
1. Open the tool settings roll up so you can make adjustments easily.
2. lay down a spot off color with the paint brush or air brush or any other tool you want to use.
3. Get the effects tool, Custom smear.
4. The settings to play with are Size and Transparency,
Transparency= lower settings make longer strokes, higher settings shorten the stroke.
Size= larger area that is smeared, thus thicker strokes.
Grab that dab of paint and pull it until its gone.
Its Fun, Play around and see what you can come up with. Then show us what kind of crazy stuff you have made.
Best wishes.
