    What is the difference with the two

    PANTONE solid matte
    PANTONE solid uncoated

    Not much, but the matte palette displays correctly on my monitor and the uncoated doesn't. Both print correctly, however.

    The difference has something to do with the minor modifications between palettes that are necessary to make the colors look right on different paper types.

    I see, thanks still confusing.

    I always use for printing

    coated or uncoated
