Weird thing has happend! Jaggies in animated GIF

here it is with a white backround put in the xara3D file - but exported as transparent - when the file is made transparent on export, it retains some of the information that is in the background in order for it to blend in - so it is important that you have the background loaded into xara3D - even when you export transparent

Jinz raster images create an anti-alias (blending) area to match the background colour. If you have the default background in Xara3D the anti-alias pixels will blend to the dark gray. If you have the background in Xara3D the same as where the animation will be used the anti-alias pixels will match the background correctly.

Steve I think Jinz isn't understanding that the anti-aliasing pixels are created when making the background transparent.

Make the background the colour of the webpage where the animation will be used. On export select Transparent. The anti-aliasing pixels will match the webpage background in place of being the dark gray of the default Xara3D background.

Could you also remember that folks are still on dial up connections. Filling threads with several 500 Kb animations is going to take forever to download for these visitors. Keep exports to the forum at 32 colours max, 16 if possible.

Not to mention using mobile phones to view the forum.

Just one last question,My animations are always 256 by 256 so If I wanted a background what size should I make it?
