John when you were making this, I bet you wished that Xara had a tool for placing dogs on a circle.
Sledger, that is beautifully done, something in preparation for Valentine's Day, perhaps?
My wife came home from work this morning with a "flyer" advertising a local bullfight, (I have a friend who collects them)
and it inspired me to do this. An apt choice of font, too.
Saludos,
Bob.

Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read. Groucho Marx.
Bob: missed your dogs before (wondered what the reference to the clip-art meant - you must have been editing) .... neat And your military fly!
Steve: I particularly like the wattage on the bulb
John
PS Bob: I did do dogs/park in Xara .... am i being slow again? Today just wont kick-start!

John, your wattage must be a bit low today.
If you create some text and a circle in Xara, you can go up to
the Arrange menu and choose fit text to curve...if only it were
possible with dogs.
The "military" fly is wearing a matador's hat, (montera torera),
made down the road from us in Seville
(about 4 hour's drive down the road). I believe the military version isn't wooly,
but shiny. Not been up close to one, but may be made from patent leather.
I thought the reference to the matador font may have given the game away.
This next one was made from previous postings cobbled together.

Ha! Useful tip too.
I'm glad there's no-one like this on TG
John
It must be because Valentine's day is just around the corner.
Very effective, red on black, I like it.
Nothing ever goes to waste in my Xara folder, it all gets
recycled. I posted the whole rugby poster here back in
November '07 and knew it would work with Xara's clipart.
Saludos,
Bob.
