    Default Fashioning an octahedron

I'm trying to figure a way to fashion an octahedron in Xara Extreme to export
into X3D to be animated. I've tried a couple of ideas of my own, but they have minor flaws that are not acceptable. I tried the bevel tool and changing the bevel degree to its upper of 999, but that left a flattened area on two sides of the octahedron.

Stumped, any ideas or leads to tutorials that may help?

    Thanks

Welcome to the forum, MacFire. The best that I can get in a few minutes is this. It is a simple square with a large 60 degree bevel (mitre). I can't quite get the tips to come to a point. The square is only 5% of normal size.
