Neat fly... but I don't think there is much of a market for enlarged copper flies.
Nice, but I don't like the reflection in this one cause it's not to one direction, it seems rather symmetric.

Mike,
I was working with very large images, and my system wouldn't take another set of wings. The front wing was a little ove 5000 pixels. I have been trying to have files that will print out large images and still look good.
Map fills have a rotation parameter, and I have made opposite sets for the directional effect.

Spider.

Rotate that baby 180 degrees and it would look pretty cool...
I know what I like and I like most of you work, including both of the above, especially the fly; but I do have trouble understanding what your talking about half the time. Either your going to have to try writing dumber or I'm going to have to try thinking smarter and between you and me, I can't see that last option happening none too soon. Anyway, enjoying your work..........frank
Nice work what software are you using?
Hi Rich
I like the spider - it has a menacing look due to the white 'eyes' - which would be lost I think if it were not oriented the way it is - ie: approaching the viewer [sorry John].
More E3 [creaturehouse expression3] work presumably - very good

Spider was E3.2 with a gold ring map in front and a crystal map behind. I did some erase blending at the head area where the bezel needed to be removed. So, the same drawing with two map fills.
A ring map has a tranparent center, and will produce a bezel effect. You need to apply paper texture to see the effect on the working screen. These were global fills and I only adjusted the emboss value. I had to separate a couple of the bezel drawing onto another layer for the erase blending. Erase Blending is layer dependent.
