Oh lord, won’t you buy me a mercedes benz ?
My friends all drive porsches, I must make amends.
Worked hard all my lifetime, no help from my friends,
So lord, won’t you buy me a mercedes benz ?
Oh lord, won’t you buy me a color tv ?
Dialing for dollars is trying to find me.
I wait for delivery each day until three,
So oh lord, won’t you buy me a color tv ?
Oh lord, won’t you buy me a night on the town ?
I’m counting on you, lord, please don’t let me down.
Prove that you love me and buy the next round,
Oh lord, won’t you buy me a night on the town ?
Everybody!
Oh lord, won’t you buy me a mercedes benz ?
My friends all drive porsches, I must make amends,
Worked hard all my lifetime, no help from my friends,
So oh lord, won’t you buy me a mercedes benz ?

She's a beauty Norman, classic lines perfectly captured, good job.
Norman,
Very well done. Your increased use of detail has really improved the overall appearance of your cars. You just keep getting better and better.
(Possible suggestion: Highlights quite frequently will fade in some direction, usually away from the light source. Using a linear transparency on the highlight can give this effect.)
Well Norm, I did find a couple items.. Not the Leslie Special yet but, it's nemesis, the " Hannibal 8 " (JackLemmon's car from the movie) and here's the link for that There are a lot of good stuff here (all models but really fun, some you may remember?? And a link to the Great Race movie info (the white car on the movie case cover, is the "Leslie Special")

Have fun
Great as always Norman, now for a challenge......The only hero I ever had was Jim Clark, a geat racing driver from the 60's. He was a Scottsman and drove Lotus cars. how about drawing a Lotus racing car from the 60s.
Thank you Tim. Will see what I can come up with. How about having a go yourself?
