Not sure if it's possible, however I'm prepared to be told..
[1] Fit (linear) graduated fill/transparencey to curve, so that the graduation follows the curve?
[2] Apply mould to graduated object and have the graduation conform to the new shape (instead of remaining linear)?
What I've tried:
Create two graduated shapes, blend them, then blend the result to a curved line. Sort of works, except the blends have vertical lines which show up in the print. If I drop the View Quality a notch, the lines disappear, but the shape becomes jaggy - and the jaggies print
I've tried creating a brush from a graduated shape, but brushes simply tile along a path.. Not the effect I'm after.
