Sub Menu Position in a Vertical Menu

I need a vertical menu however I need the submenu to NOT be positioned to the left or the right but to show below the moused-overed image. I've gone through both JS files and can't find out how to change the positioning.

Has anyone been able to do this? If so, can you please share how it was done.

I do not think you can do a outline tree structure with MM. There are other programs out there that can do that.

Not off the top of my head. I usually write my own code, so I would not be much more help on this...
