setting font default

I have just started using the stable release of xara lx, and think it is brilliant.

One problem I have though, and this may be brain failure, is that since I set a new font, it reverts back to the old one each time I choose a new position. I cant seem to find a way to set a default font so that I do not have to reset it each time I click on a new position on the page. As I will be using several hundred different positions, this could be tiresome .

This sort of works, with the 1779 version. Select the "text tool" and before clicking anywhere select the font you want and in the popup-window that shows up click "set". Now your selected font is the default.

Hi Con, thanks for that, it works a treat. The popup dialogue is a bit odd, but hey, it works! I guess I must have set the other font at some time and not realised the consequences. Couldn't find anything relating to this in the documentation.
