Mark,
No we have yet to do any testing on 64 bit Vista, all our current 64 bit machines are running either XP or 32 bit Vista. But we hope to test on it soon, so by all means please try it and let us know of any problems.
Thanks
Neil
actually, have found a few problems, 64BIT.
the quick shape tools draw empy shapes with multiple lines as if in
low view quality mode,
the dragging a picture from the pictures folder in vistapublic folder
doesnt place on the canvas,it does place in the bitmap gallery,
but trying to drag it from bitmap gallery to canvas doesnt work, neither
does pressing insert.
haven`t got a screen cap software installed yet so cant show pictures.
will do so soon.
more info,
the functions, drag, drop rotate, seem to work initially for a couple of
minutes, then the errors occur, like not being able to select an object,
or place a graphic inside a shape by dragging onto the shape,
imagery vanishing and only points left as you drag the canvas.
quick shapes drawing in line mode only and in multiple repeats as you drag
them out (like a stepped blend effect) sheesh wish I had camtasia to film
it for you...apologies I don`t mean to be so abstract and unclear.
Mark,
text types invisible, pencil tool draws line with no stroke,
soften edges slider doesnt work on shapes or bitmaps.
I knew I shouldn`t have bought 64bit when they guy upsold me
just so you know I had xtremePRO 3 previously and simply installed
extreme pro for Vista without uninstalling pro3 first, I think that was
the right step to follow..
FYI: Microsoft has just released the following Vista updates. It would be interesting to know if these are helpful in any way:

I too am having the same problems on my Vista 64 Ultimate. I've a support case in with Xara but they have been unable to reproduce my problems as of yet ( see my post http://www.talkgraphics.com/showthread.php?t=28702)
I installed the http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=938194 hotfix. This did nothing for my Xara problems. The other hotfix was only if you were using certain services which I am not using.
Beware when installing the hotfix as my computer sat at the "Shutting down" screen for at least 20 minutes. It was doing a bunch of hard-drive stuff as the light was flashing, but then even that stopped. I ended up hitting the reset button to get the computer to reboot.
My (32-bit Vista Home Premium) took a *very* long time to shut down after doing those updates. I went away and washed up some cups and made a cup of tea and opened the garage and looked for a cross-head screwdriver and .... and came back and it was sat on my login screen.
If you've re-booted halfway through that process, I would suggest that you remove the hotfix, restart and then install it again.
Thanks for the reply - I will try this again at the end of the day when I leave the office; got too much other work to do to sit at a shut down prompt all day!
